About the event
Mega Creatures returns to Hunter Valley Gardens from 28 March to 26 April 2026, offering an immersive experience where prehistoric dinosaurs meet mythical creatures in a magical, storybook setting for all ages.
For 2026, the event expands with 45 new installations, including the all-new Unicorn Gardenfeaturing colourful fantasy elements and a herd of unicorns, plus an enhanced Land of the Legendswith a giant dragon atop a castle and additional mythical creatures. Fan-favourite dinosaurs will also return, along with the popular Night Safari experience.
Entertainment
Visitors can enjoy a full day of activities, including roaming performers, interactive dig pits for kids, and a festive Easter Egg Hunt. Amusement rides operate daily, adding extra excitement to the experience.

A wide range of food options will be available, including woodfired pizza, gourmet burgers, dumplings, and sweet treats like donuts, churros, and gelato.
