Merriwa’s Festival of the Fleeces

Take a short road trip for one of the most unique festivals in the Hunter! The famous ‘Running of the Sheep’ (wearing red socks!) is a sight to behold. This heritage festival features a street parade, high-country markets, heavy horse displays, and plenty of fairground rides for the kids.
