Heide Museum of Modern Art, located in Bulleen, is one of Australia’s most important cultural institutions. Originally the home of art patrons John and Sunday Reed, Heide became a significant hub for Australian modernism, hosting famous artists like Sidney Nolan and Joy Hester. The museum spans sixteen acres of beautiful parkland and includes three distinct gallery spaces: Heide I, Heide II, and Heide III. Heide I is the original farmhouse, Heide II is a stunning example of modernist architecture, and Heide III houses contemporary exhibitions.
