Ghost in The Rocks

Sydney’s biggest Halloween festival is back. Ghost in The Rocks returns from 29 October to 1 November 2026, transforming the historic precinct into a four-night, open-air Halloween playground for an expected 300,000+ visitors. Giant tentacles will emerge from buildings, six-metre spiders will take over the laneways, and George Street will close to traffic on Friday and Saturday nights for live music, DJs, roaming performers, and immersive Halloween installations. The street festival and all live performances are completely free, with ticketed extras like a haunted house party, a Halloween cocktail crawl, and an immersive four-course dinner rounding out the program. The full lineup will be revealed throughout September.
