Aggie Global: Local Food Gift Boxes with a Difference

At Aggie Global we are on a mission to help you support local and discover new Aussie foods today. We are a social business creating a connection between people, places and food to develop a virtuous food supply chain that benefits consumers and producers alike.

The Paisley Twins (Lisa and Zoe Paisley) co-founded the business in 2018 after seeing first hand how reliant small holder farmers in remote communities were on agriculture as their main source of income. They started engaging farmers in Fiji first, discovering the intricacies of the food supply chain in a lesser developed country. Just when their E-commerce platform went live in Fiji, Australia was being devastated by Bushfires and there was a community demand to be supporting local and helping the farmers and businesses affected by these fires most. Now  the Paisley Twins have an Australian branch that helps individual’s like you to support local businesses in a convenient way.

Door to Door Convenience

In Australia Aggie Global’s main focus is providing you with carefully curated gift boxes so you can try a range of Australian foods without even leaving your home. Our gift boxes are themed for different events or based on the types of producers who have contributed to the box. You can also hand pick individual products on our website.

This Easter we’ve created a Mystery Gift Box. This box is designed like an advent calendar, where every day you get to unwrap a different product, discover a new type of bush food and how to use it. The boxes are designed as family friendly alternatives, to help you get creative in the kitchen with your kids, but to also unwind and treat yourself during the long weekend.

A big theme in these Easter Mystery Gift Boxes is using bush foods in your everyday cooking. Every product in the box has been ethically sourced from suppliers engaging Indigenous community members that are wild harvesting these products according to their traditions. This is huge because less than 1% of commercially available bush foods are grown by non-Indigenous people.

At Aggie Global we strive to create a more inclusive and beneficial food supply in Australia and beyond. For every product available, over 70% of your money goes straight back to our suppliers to support local Aussie businesses. We also produce and host events to educate our community on market trends as well as the availability and diversity of local products in both Fiji and Australia.
