Beach Tent or Beach Umbrella?
It’s summer and it’s hot! It’s time to get out of the house and get out and about exploring some of Australia’s great beaches. However, finding a beach that hits the trifecta: Park, Cafe and Shade is nearly impossible in peak season. Those coveted spots under the trees are always the first spots to be taken and the last thing you want in the heat is to be left out in the sun for too long!

Bondi Beach Tent by Lovin Summer, is a versatile beach tent, that can be set up within minutes on either sand or grass. A big plus for our parents, especially when juggling a baby, beach toys, toddlers, food and a Mary Hoppins handbag. With adjustable settings it can move with ease pending the sun’s position. Unlike traditional tents where you can feel quite hot, the Bondi Beach Tent design allows air to move freely throughout the tent. We also love the little extras for ease of use like the carry bag and shoulder mallet.
Cool Cabanas – seems to be a ParentHood family winner. Easy to assemble (you do need two hands but easy to do with just one person). Copes well with wind and lots of space to for little ones and friends to move comfortably underneath. Naturally when the sun moves and the angles change this can create a slight issue for shade coverage. Although a tip to combat this could be to sew on some velcro to one side and add material to allow for a bit more shade coverage. We also love that you can purchase a grass convertor tool kit, making it super versatile for both beach and use at the park.
