CherryHill Orchards Announces its 2026 Season of Blossoms, Cherries and Family Experiences
MELBOURNE, VICTORIA, Friday 7 August 2026: Spring might not officially arrive until September, but for thousands of Victorians the season begins the moment CherryHill Orchards opens the gates. From the return of Bloom & Graze to the breathtaking Blossom Festival followed by the iconic Cherry-Picking season, the months are packed with unforgettable experiences for food lovers, families and visitors of all ages.
There is no better place to celebrate the arrival of spring than in the Yarra Valley at CherryHill Orchards. From blossom-filled picnics and artisan food markets to locally produced wine, live entertainment and the much-loved cherry harvest, the orchard is one of Victoria’s most picturesque destinations across spring and summer. Only an hour from Melbourne, CherryHill offers visitors much more than just a day out in a beautiful orchard.
Kicking off the season is the Bloom & Graze festival, a weekend-long celebration of Yarra Valley food, wine and creativity. Bigger than ever, the event brings together the region’s leading wineries, breweries, distilleries, cheesemakers, chocolatiers, growers and artisans for two days of grazing, tasting and discovery. Guests can wander through market stalls, meet local producers, enjoy complimentary workshops or book intimate masterclasses while soaking up live entertainment as spring begins. Graze, sip, shop and wander through a vibrant showcase of local wineries, artisan producers, market stalls and live entertainment, all set amongst the stunning backdrop of CherryHill’s orchard.
Following this is the much-loved Blossom Festival, where thousands of cherry trees burst into bloom. The orchard is transformed into a wonderful Victorian landscape and breathtaking scenes of white blossoms. Held throughout the September school holidays, this annual celebration invites visitors to slow down, pack a picnic and spend the day immersed in one of Victoria’s most beautiful seasonal experiences. Whether capturing the perfect blossom photograph, wandering beneath flowering trees, enjoying delicious local food and drinks or simply relaxing with family and friends amongst the blooms, Blossom Festival offers the perfect countryside escape, only 1-hours drive from Melbourne CBD.
As the blossoms give way to summer’s sweetest reward, CherryHill Orchards will open the gates as summer arrives for the famous cherry-picking season. Their two Yarra Valley orchards will once again welcome thousands of visitors for the favourite summer tradition. CherryHill Orchards are renowned for their premium, ripe, juicy cherries fresh from the tree and joyful festival atmosphere. Guests can pick between two orchards with their Coldstream orchard starting off the cherry season in early November, followed by their original Wandin East orchard, birthplace of CherryHill, and a favourite for many who enjoy the tradition of picking cherries across the festive season.
CherryHill has vast picnic areas with punters encouraged to fill their baskets and then their bellies with the goodness CherryHill has to offer. Bloom & Graze is the perfect springboard to kick off their season, followed by the Blossom Festival and cherry-picking, with a delicious selection of food and drinks on offer in the beautiful surrounds of CherryHill Orchards!
