HORIZONTAL FESTIVAL BRINGS FAMILY FUN TO THE VINES THIS OCTOBER LONG WEEKEND

Horizontal Festival returns to Centennial Vineyards, Bowral from 2–4 October 2026, bringing together chefs, winemakers, producers, musicians and makers for a three-day celebration of regional New South Wales through food, wine, music and culture.

On Sunday 4 October, younger festivalgoers will take centre stage as Family Day fills Centennial Vineyards with creativity, live music, animals and circus fun. Across the afternoon, kids can choose from 50 art classes led by Melanie Norman, get up close to the Highlands fire truck, and meet Farmer Gavin and his incredible working dogs, all to the roving sounds of the Soul Street Brigade.

Exclusive to Family Day, Chaos Meets Circus will also invite kids to join the action through a series of special workshops, while Weird Assembly brings a live show for all ages to the Main Stage. Outdoor food trucks and the lively Festival atmosphere make for a relaxed and memorable afternoon in the vines for the whole family to discover together.

Specially priced tickets are available for children aged 3–14 at $25, while children aged two and under enter free.

Parents can also indulge in the full Horizontal Festival experience, with more than 80 wineries, distilleries, breweries and artisan producers showcasing the best of regional New South Wales, alongside gourmet food experiences, workshops, live music and a rolling program of conversations on the Maldon Salt Culinary Stage.
