Description

We recently had the opportunity to visit Jurassic World: The Exhibition in Sydney. It is a must see for families! For those who are yet to book they have just extended their dates to the 18th February!

Dinosaurs just aren’t my thing, so the idea of a family day out to this exhibition wasn’t number 1 on the my top things to do this holiday season. However,  my partner, a massive Jurassic World movie fan was super keen to visit and convinced me that my little ones would enjoy the experience too. So family in tow took the drive to SuperLuna Pavilion at Sydney Olympic Par.  I have to say what started with apprehension quickly turned in to genuine excitement and an unforgettable experience transporting our family back to the prehistoric era.

From the moment I walked through the iconic Jurassic World gates, I was greeted by a world filled with richly themed environments and life-sized dinosaurs that truly brought the films to life. The attention to detail was remarkable, and it was evident that a great deal of effort had been put into creating an authentic and captivating experience.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was the chance to see Velociraptors up close. The  animatronic dinosaurs were incredibly realistic, and the interactive elements allowed me to feel a sense of awe and wonder. Standing under the towering Brachiosaurus was another breathtaking moment, making me appreciate the sheer size and majesty of these ancient creatures.

Of course, no dinosaur exhibition would be complete without encountering the king of the dinosaurs, the mighty Tyrannosaurus rex. The sheer power and ferocity of this iconic creature were palpable, and it left me in awe of its dominance in the prehistoric world.

What impressed me even more was the inclusion of “Bumpy” from the popular animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. This added a touch of familiarity and allowed fans of the series, like my parter to connect with the exhibition on a deeper level.

The SuperLuna Pavilion at Sydney Olympic Park provided an excellent venue for the exhibition, offering ample space for visitors to explore and enjoy the various displays. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience with their enthusiasm and willingness to answer questions.

Overall, Jurassic World: The Exhibition in Sydney is a must-visit for fans of the franchise and dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages. It offers a mesmerising journey into the world of dinosaurs, immersing visitors in a prehistoric adventure that will leave a lasting impression.
