The Personal Mister That Saved The Family
The Misty Mate, is a portable mist cooling device that came in super handy cooling off our family on a bike ride around Narrabeen Lakes. It was one of those unsuspecting hot days. You know the ones, when it starts off nice and cool. Then 20 minutes in to the ride, you’ve reached the family argument on who thought it was a good idea to go for a family bike ride in 35 degree heat! Thankfully I had packed the Misty Mate, which cooled down the family instantly.
It’s strange to say but I have now gone from never really using a mister before, to now always carrying one on all family outdoor activities.
It’s super sleek and lightweight, hardly noticeable around all the other items we carry as family, for those ‘just in case’ moments! We love the fact that their eco-friendly range operates using a hand pressurised system, so it completely eliminates the need for batteries or electricity.
Misty Mate actually created the concept of ‘consumer mist cooling,’ in 1989. Since then they have supplied misters to various professional workers such as landscapers; construction workers; the troops; athletes; even Multiple Sclerosis patients. Now they have helped a fellow mumma cool down her family on an exhausting bike ride. #winning!
