Queensland Symphony Orchestra
Check out the huge range of recorded symphonies including Once upon a Rhythm, the ABC Animal Orchestra and the Very Noisy Bear. The Queensland Symphony are releasing new videos every Friday on their youtube channel. Check it out here! Accompanied with beautiful illustrations and animations, your kids will be sure to LOVE this Friday morning treat!
Museum to Go
Explore the range of artefacts and exhibits with the Pink Palace Museum’s Museum to go! It’s a space where your little one can explore, learn, discover and create. There is a variety of different option to choose from, including the ‘activities at home’ section. This has a bunch of different learning activities all about science, physics, and nature. Calvin and Kaison’s Play Power
We’ve been loving this show recently! And who can deny that kiddies are spending a little more time on screens – we might as well make it a learning experience for them too! Check out Nickelodeon’s new show, Calvin and Kaison’s Play power. Each episode sees the duo embark on a play-venture, teaching viewers about the importance of playing and having fun! It’s available to stream using the Nickelodeon app! Here’s a link!
PJ Masks Heroes at Home!
Pj masks are here to make sure your kids are keeping helpful active and creative at home. Help them become their own heroes by completing tasks in the house. From helping mummy make dinner to painting with their big sister, we know your kids will be entertained for hours with their favourite characters from PJ Masks. Painting with Dynamic Frames
Check out Dynamic Frames, the perfect way to show off all of the artworks your little one creates. Get the little ones painting and know that you’ll be able to display whatever is the creation of the day! Store all of the artworks in the frame rather than letting them collect dust in some drawer. The CPAC have gone online for the new few weeks, bring a bunch of activities for your little ones to get the heads stuck into! They’ve got everything from Comic creation, to science classes. Check out the website here for more details!
Australia’s Sea Museum
Check out the Australian National Maritime Museum’s range of online activities and games HERE. The’ve got a huge range of activities to help kids learn, create and discover the magical word of the sea, with print outs, online games and ready-made templates. Our favourite has to be The Voyage, one of the educational online games (based on real convict voyages). Your kids will make decisions, solve problems and deal with conflicts on a crazy journey across the globe. Here’s the link!
V-tech ‘Learning Through This’
V-tech and leapfrog have been the experts on kid’s play for years now! They’ve released loads of free content including articles, printable activity books and educational activities from their team of experts, helping your kids to learn through this time!
