Balmoral Harbourside Beach

If you are looking for a sheltered beach near the harbour, Balmoral Beach is an outstanding, family-friendly option. Divided into 3 main beaches, it’s a fabulous Harbourside location with breath taking panoramic bay views. At the end of the beach you can have lunch or dinner at The Boatshed, or eat at one of the other many restaurants along the waterfront. For those who prefer to pack a picnic then there are plenty of green spaces and beautiful trees to get a little shade whilst you eat.

At the far end of the beach (BoatShed side) there is also an enclosed playground with a cafe next to it. Making it the perfect place for toddlers to let off a little steam after playing at the beach.

Whilst there is plenty of parking it can be a little tricky as Balmoral’s fabulous sandy beaches, great restaurants and picturesque makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a family day.
