Sensory Activities every little one will LOVE!

Check out these 3 activities that will help your kid explore using sensory techniques!

Shaving Cream Letter Writing

Place a coloured piece of paper on a baking tray, and cover with shaving foam! Get your little ones to practice their letters by carving them out through the foam using their fingers! If you’re not quite up to letters yet, why not try shapes, animals or even just let them have a play! See what they get up to! This is such a fun way to learn, and gets kids engaged and involved! Check out this link for more info on shaving cream shenanigans!

Sensory bag!

Fill up a ziplock with aloe vera gel, sequins, pom poms, mini toys and whatever else you’ve got on hand. Zip it closed and let your little get squishing. These are great for when your little is feeling overwhelmed, and might even hep prevent a full blown temper tantrum.

Sensory Bin

Add a few scoops of rice into different zip lock bags, and add in a few drops of food colour and a cap of rubbing alcohol into each. Shake them up to create rainbow rice. Pout into a plastic box  or bin, and add in some scoops, cups, or bowls (whatever you’ve got on hand!) This will keep little ones busy scooping, shovelling and measuring all afternoon long!
