What’s Your Kid’s Favourite Toy During Iso?

During this pandemic we’ve seen supermarket aisles looking like the newest scene from a zombie movie. Parents juggling work, childcare and family sanity levels. Community based groups popping up so we can support each other and a whole host of online activities and toys to keep your little ones engaged and entertained.

Our ParentHood community have been providing us with feedback on how they passed time with their little ones.

In todays feature we are looking at favourite toys during this period. Here’s what our ParentHood community had to say;

Zuru Rainbocorn is our family favourite!

My little girl loves her ZURU Rainbocorn so much. It has attended every home schooling lesson, every family meal. It’s even the last thing she cuddles before bed!

We love this feedback!

After a bit more research on the ZURU Rainbocorns Sequin Surprise it’s easy to see why its so loved and why it won the Melbourne Australian Toy Fair 2020 Awards for product of the year. The moment you purchase this feature rich toy, is the moment your fun begins. To access your Rainbocorn you have to crack open a hard case egg shell and voila your new bestie is born. Out pops 10 different surprises to keep your little one entertained. With stickers and a unique reversible sequin heart it is easy to see why it has won the hearts of so many children.

Rainbocorns are suitable for children aged 3+ and sold at all good retailers.

Lego Dots

Lego Dots have become my daughter’s latest obsession. She loved all the different combinations she could create, and we even had fashion shows where she would show off her latest creation. It’s been awesome to see that creativity even when we’re limited with what’s in our house.

We had a few parents mention Lego Dots, so jumped right on to see what they’re all about. These sets give kids the chance to customise and decorate everything from bracelets to desk organisers. There’s a bunch of fun colours and items to keep every little one entertained. It’s a fun new way to play with lego and unleash your little one’s creativity!

Head to your nearest retailer to pick one up. Our favourite? The picture frames!

Rock’n’Gem Surprise

We’d not heard about this toy, which is a mine filled with rocks and gems for your child to crack out! Have a listen to what one mum said:

We got this toy as a gift right before COVID came, and boy has it been a hit! My two young ones can sit for hours, mining out the different gems, only to put them all back together and start again. It’s been that one game where they completely focus, and it always seems to come out every afternoon.

We love this idea – crack open the rocks to reveal the different gems inside. The kit comes with a plastic hammer for cracking open the rocks, as well as a collection of hollow rocks filled with treasures! Head to amazon to get your hands on it. Suitable for ages 3+
